Loved it! We did the potions experience, which was well worth the money - you get 3 x delicious cocktails and all the fun whilst making 2 of them (one is done on arrival in a different 'magical' way 🦄). Feels very magical for sure & a great experience for any wizarding fan. Peter was our host and was amazing, very enthusiastic and made the experience!
A fun experience. The 'potions' however were pretty awful, wasn't able to drink them. Wouldn't say it was value for money either; quite pricey for what it was and whilst the server was trying to be enthusiastic and entertaining, it fell short of what I would regard as a good performance. Additionally, throughout the time we were 'making the potions', they were huddled together busy chatting with eachother which felt like there was a distinct lack of attention (was left waving our wands trying to get their attention for a while. Overall, it was ok.
If you are looking for something fun and interactive, this is the place to go!! From the start you are made to feel welcome, our potions master was so friendly and cheerful.
The drinks were delicious and it's so fun making them yourselves!!
They have alcohol free options too so suitable for children.
We went for the potions making class and it was amazing, Robyn the potions master was brilliant and very attentive. Would definitely go again.
My ok my suggestion would be when taking people up for the first drink do it in smaller groups as we ended up at the back and kept having staff tell us to move as we were in the way to get to the bar and couldn’t see the front.
We did the Potion Experience. Dave made us feel very welcome at the entrance. Our server, Ruth, was also great and very enthusiastic.
The experience itself, making the cocktails, was a lot of fun. However, we didn’t enjoy them much. Very chemical and artificial. Not to our liking. The welkom drink was great, but we didn’t finish the other 2 cocktails. I also noticed other guest not finishing theirs.
We were also seated in the back in some sort of separate room, which made us unable to experience the wizardry theme. We walked through it and it looked so cozy and awesome! So many artifacts and details and atmosphere! But the place where we sat was a blue room with some books and some branches. Not really what we were expecting and hoping to experience.
To end on a positive note: very creative concept and making the cocktails was a lot of fun! and crew was great :)

My husband and I were pretty excited to enjoy this experience but felt let down in several ways after it was over. There was a guy that was rude to me as I was getting checked in and settled into our table. Not sure why, he seemed like he was having a rough day. Our host/server was however very nice and really got into the theme. We were unfortunately sat in the back room which isn't as themed as the front , so that kinda sucked. You just have to get lucky I guess. Also you may want to know that they sit you with another couple or group at the same table. I didn't realize it would be that way. The cocktails we made were really fun to make, some have smoke and bubble, it's really cool. The materials to make the drinks with were all sticky though. They tasted good...some are a bit sweet.
I think overall, it's overpriced. I'm glad we did it, but they could work on many things to really make the experience great and worth that price tag. They have a great idea!
We had so much fun making potions! It was a great start to our trip to Scotland and had so many magical little details (like a tasty drink poured from the mouth of a unicorn who also happened to be a drag sensation!) A huge shoutout to our charming potions master, Peter. He made the experience even more fun and was always a wand twirl away. And we did find that chippy in Skye (though we still weren’t sure if it was that one you couldn’t quite remember or not 😂). We highly recommend a stop here if you’re looking for a magical treat!
